Genevieve Lemarchal MBA

Genevieve is passionate about equipping smart, driven scientists, inventors, and entrepreneurs to help them achieve their vision. She was an entrepreneur herself with almost 10 years of start-up experience before coming to venture capital. She is currently the Head of Healthcare Ventures at Expert Dojo, the most active early-stage venture capital fund and growth accelerator program in Southern California. Expert Dojo's venture fund is currently one of the top-performing venture capital funds in the U.S. She is also the Managing Partner of Suncoast ventures, which follow-on invests in the top performers from Expert Dojo Healthcare focused on seed and series A.

Genevieve's functional expertise is in executive leadership, growth strategy, fundraising, coaching and mentorship, and early-stage venture capital deal structure and capital strategy. She takes pride in her ability to coach, train, advise and enable early-stage founders across a variety of industries to become the strongest leaders and build the best companies for themselves and the world, as well as advising corporate leaders, professionals, fund managers on venture capital and guiding the process of deal creation for early stage innovation. Her portfolio includes healthcare tech, AI/ML and data applications, digital health, XR tech and diagnostics, therapeutics, medical devices, and CPG. Sectors include women’s health, children and babies, EDGE computing, Quantum computations, sports performance, disability tech, animal therapies, population health, etc.

Genevieve is dedicated to health access and equity, philanthropy, and global action to empower and educate women and girls in entrepreneurship. In addition to founding the nonprofit XXCelerate, she served on the Board of Directors for Girl Scouts which is the largest STEM pipeline and entrepreneurship program for K-12 girls in the U.S. Genevieve has a BA in Communication (Journalism) from Washington State University and an MBA from the University of Washington. She has traveled overseas as an advocate for various humanitarian and global diplomacy organizations.
