Eugene Hackett is Director of Global Brand Protection and Canada and South America Security Operations, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. He was born in Buffalo, New York, where he received his early education and attended Canisius College, graduating with honors. Mr. Hackett has taken a leading role in security issues involving Bristol-Myers Squibb’s international operations in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Most recently he helped establish a Global Brand Protection program to support the innovative medicines that are critical to the ongoing success of Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Mr. Hackett is recognized as a leader in the fight against promotional frauds, including frauds involving manufactures’ promotional coupons. He served two terms as President of the Coupon Information Corporation; a not-for-profit organization assisting law enforcement in prosecuting coupon fraud.Mr. Hackett is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security
