Gema Parlange Iturmendi

Gema Parlange is vice president, Global Market Insights, responsible for driving growth, innovative technology solutions and go-to-market approaches for IMS Health’s worldwide market measurement offerings. She was named to the position in 2014. Prior to her current role, Gema was vice president, Global Pharma Development for three years, leading offering management activities for IMS Health’s large and midsize pharmaceutical customers. Before that, Gema led IMS Health’s operations in EMEA growth markets that included Russia, Turkey, Greece, Middle East-North Africa and the Balkans.

She also served as vice president, Sales – Mid-size Region, with responsibility for the company’s sales teams in more than 40 countries. Joining IMS Health in 1993, Gema has held progressively responsible positions in finance, business development, sales and marketing. Prior to IMS Health, Gema was finance controller for ACNielsen in Germany. Gema holds a master’s degree in Economics with honors and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Deusto.
