Geir Ringstad MD, PhD

Geir Ringstad works as a senior consultant neuroradiologist and researcher at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Oslo University Hospital. His main research efforts are presently directed towards novel methods for imaging glymphatic and lymphatic brain clearance. For this purpose, in vivo CSF tracer (intrathecal MRI contrast agent) is used in conjunction with multi-phase MRI and applied in patients with CSF circulation disorders and dementia.
