Geeta Shanbhag MBA

Geeta Shanbhag is a Vice President of Pharmacovigilance and Medico-regulatory Affairs at Ipca Laboratories Ltd. She has more than two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, inclusive of medico-marketing, clinical research, bioequivalence studies, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance. In medico-marketing, she was involved in the preparation of product manuals and in training sales representatives on the medical aspects of the products. In clinical research, she was involved in designing clinical trial protocols, monitoring clinical trials, along with preparation of clinical study reports and publishing them. For the past 8 years, she has been involved in pharmacovigilance. She has set up a Corporate Pharmacovigilance Cell in Ipca, which handles global pharmacovigilance.
