Geert Dom MD, PhD

Prof. Geert Dom, psychiatrist, chief physician of the PZ Broeders Alexianen in Boechout and academically affiliated with the University of Antwerp (UA, CAPRI) and University Hospital Antwerp (UZA). He is currently also chairman of the Belgian Professional Association for Psychiatry. Both clinically and academically specialized for more than 20 years in addiction problems with a specific interest in co-morbidity. Based on this interest, he works nationally and internationally for a far-reaching (full) integration of addiction care in mental health care. He is internationally active on the board of the European Psychiatric Association (EPA board and addiction section) and the European Federation of Addiction Societies (EUFAS).
