Gay Lloyd Pinder , Ph.D., CCC/SLP is an NDTA Speech Instructor in the NDT/Bobath Certificate Course in the Management and Treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy and Other Neuromotor Disorders. She has been treating children and working with families since 1972 when she graduated from Boston University with a M.Ed. in Speech Language pathology. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 1994 in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences. Gay Lloyd was one of the founders in 1979 of Children Therapy Center in Kent, WA. which serves infants and children with a variety of neuromuscular disorders. She continues her work there as a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a focus on oral motor (feeding) issues. In addition, Gay Lloyd teaches workshops throughout North America on treatment of children with oral motor issues and the development of feeding skills.
