Gaurav P. Patel MD

Dr. Gaurav Patel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology. He serves as the Clinical Director for Emory University Hospital's Surgical Specialties Anesthesia Division. Along with this administrative role, he is Director of Medical Student Education and the Associate Program Director for the residency program. His clinical interests include transplant and vascular anesthesiology. He is the recipient of the Dean's Teaching Award in Medical Education, given by the School of Medicine, and has received both the Teaching and Mentoring Awards from the Anesthesiology department. He is active in the SOM, including serving on various committees.
