Gaurav Narula MD, DNB

Dr. Gaurav Narula is a leading pediatric oncologist and Professor of Pediatric Oncology and Health Sciences at Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai, India. He is widely recognized for his expertise in pediatric hematology-oncology, with a focus on leukemia, lymphoma, and advanced cellular therapies. Dr. Narula serves as the Principal Investigator of the CAR-T & Cell Therapy Center, where he leads pioneering efforts in developing and implementing cell and gene therapies in India. His work has been instrumental in advancing cost-effective CAR-T cell therapies, including contributions to India’s first indigenous CAR-T treatment in collaboration with academic partners.

With over two decades of clinical and research experience, including service as a pediatrician and hematologist in the Indian Navy, he has played a key role in building one of the largest pediatric oncology programs in the country, managing a high volume of leukemia and lymphoma cases annually. In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Narula is actively involved in national and international oncology initiatives. He is a co-founder of the Immuno-Oncology Society of India, a founding member of the Indian Association of Cell & Gene Therapy, and has contributed to policy, ethics, and clinical research through advisory roles with major health organizations. Dr. Narula holds an MD and DNB in Pediatrics and completed specialized fellowship training in pediatric hematology-oncology at Tata Memorial Centre.
