Gary Thompson BA, BS, MS

Gary Thompson, MS, is the Senior Director of Lilly’s Data Sciences & Solutions organization, which includes leadership of Lilly’s global clinical data management, eSource, and central monitoring capabilities. Gary has over 20 years of experience in the clinical research field in a variety of CRO and sponsor settings. Gary joined Lilly in 1999 in the Global Clinical Data Management organization and has held a number of leadership roles related to data management, clinical capabilities development, and statistics operations. His experiences have focused on data management portfolio delivery, strategic sourcing, process and technology development and implementation, and clinical development transformation via data, analytics, and automation. Prior to joining Lilly Gary held positions at Clintrials Research and Insite Clinical Trials. Gary holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.
