Garret Morris is a talented healthcare manager and the Director of Network Development and Physician Relations for the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), just north of Baltimore, MD. He is a gifted Relationship Manager who uses a positive, patient centered approach to engage customers and coworkers. Garret looks for “That personal connection” and to identify what matters most to GBMC’s 300 employed providers and nearly 1150 medical staff members.
Garret helped found and run GBMC’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO), the Greater Baltimore Health Alliance (GBHA). GBHA was the first ACO in Maryland to include a hospital and is an important part of realizing GBMC’s quadruple aim; better health, better care, least waste and more joy. An alumnus of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA, and a recent University of Baltimore MBA graduate, specializing in Healthcare Management, he enjoys educating and encouraging physicians to participate in population health, clinical transformation and quality payment initiatives. When not at work, Garret and his wife Joyce enjoy boating on the Chesapeake Bay with their Newfoundland dog, named Goose.
