Gareth Leng PhD, MSc

Gareth Leng is the Head of the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, a former president of the International Neuroendocrine Federation, and former editor-in-chief of The Journal of Neuroendocrinology. He was a Founder Committee member, treasurer, and secretary of the British Neuroendocrine Group (now the British Society for Neuroendocrinology, BSN). In 2011 the BSN made me an honorary member of the Society.

From 1993 to1996 he was secretary of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Physiology responsible for the redesign and re-launch of this Journal.
