Wang Gang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Food Science and Technology, at Jiangnan University. He holds a doctorate in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and is a visiting scholar at the Quadram Institute Bioscience in the UK. Mainly engaged in teaching and research in food microbiology, food nutrition, and health. Research directions focus on intestinal microorganisms and health, discovery of functional probiotic resources, analysis of probiotic functional mechanisms, and development of probiotic products.
