Ganesh Gnanappa MD

Dr. Ganesh Kumar Gnanappa, MD, joined the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network as a consultant cardiologist in mid-2019 and he works at both Westmead and Randwick as a paediatric cardiologist. His initial training in paediatrics and paediatric cardiology was in India. After migrating to Australia, Ganesh completed his paediatric cardiology training and was awarded a Fellowship from The Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He has had further training in Cardiac MRI at the Children's Hospital at Westmead and Specialist MRI, at Sydney. Ganesh participated in a Fellowship in Advanced Echocardiography at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Canada. Ganesh's areas of interest are in imaging, including echocardiography, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. He also has research interests in paediatric cardiology imaging.
