Galen Perdikis MD

Galen Perdikis, MD is a plastic surgeon who has worked at Mayo Clinic for 13 years. His clinical and research interests are focused in breast reconstruction and facial aesthetic surgery. Dr. Perdikis serves as the Medical Director for Education and Chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery for the Mayo Clinic Florida campus.

In addition, Dr. Perdikis has served on national and regional plastic surgery society committees and boards and as president of the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is part of Mayo clinic’s Communication in Healthcare faculty and speaks nationally on safety, teamwork and communication.

Dr. Perdikis completed his undergraduate studies at University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, a research fellowship in Esophageal Surgery at Creighton University in Omaha, NE, his residency in General Surgery at Creighton, and his fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
