Gail M. Blacklock

As the director of compliance/compliance officer, Gail Blacklock brings over 15 years of experience to the Inter-Valley. Gail’s responsibilities include implementing the federal and state regulations to ensure members are given their rights, training and managing the corporate compliance program, monitoring and auditing the entire health plan, and also a detective, investigating and prosecuting those committing fraud and abuse with the health plan.

In 1997, Gail began working at Inter Valley Health Plan as the executive assistant to the president and the board of directors. Over the years she has been promoted to various positions including compliance manager. During her tenure with Inter-Valley, Gail completed her degree in Healthcare Administration and earned her Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC). Gail enjoys spending her downtime with her husband, Jim, of 18 years and their two dogs. She is also very involved in the community and regularly gives her time to non-profits including the Lung Cancer Association.
