Dr. Gaiane (Maia) Rauch, M.D., Ph.D, FSABI, FSBI, is a Professor of Diagnostic Radiology, Deputy Chair of Research, Director of Functional Imaging Lab, Abdominal Imaging Department at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Rauch is a recognized researcher with a focus on the use of Advanced Functional Imaging modalities and Quantitative imaging for the development of novel imaging biomarkers to improve risk stratification, therapy planning, and endpoint evaluation in patients with breast, rectal, and cervical cancer.

Dr. Rauch is and/or has been a principal investigator (PI), co-PI, or collaborator on multiple grants, including from the Center for Advanced Biomedical Imaging (CABI), Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT), and National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute (NIH/NCI). Dr. Rauch serves on numerous national and international professional committees, including ACR, RSNA, SAR, SBI, SNMMI, and SABI. She actively mentors physicians and scientists at different stages of their careers. She authored or co-authored over 120 articles and 280 abstracts.
