Gaddum Reddy MD, PhD

Gaddum Reddy, MD, Ph.D. is a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon. He joined Brain & Spine Specialists in 2021 as a surgical specialist in the repair and restoration of spinal, brain, and nerve functions. After graduating with high honors from Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Reddy went on to obtain his MD from Baylor College of Medicine as well as a Ph.D. from Rice University in Bioengineering. He then completed a residency in Neurological Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center where he received extensive subspecialty training in spine and brain tumor surgery as well as in the surgical treatment of degenerative and traumatic spinal conditions. Dr. Reddy then went on to complete specialized fellowship training in the surgical management of pain, epilepsy, and movement disorders at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Brain and Spine Specialists, Dr. Reddy was a professor of Neurosurgery and served as director of Functional and Epilepsy surgery at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

Dr. Reddy is a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons, College of Neurological Surgeons, the American Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, the World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, and the American Medical Association. He has written extensively in the field and has over 100 published abstracts, presentations, book chapters, and peer-reviewed articles.
