Gabriela Gayer MD

Dr. Gabriela Gayer MD, is a clinical professor at the Department of Radiology at the Stanford University Medical Center, Stanford, California, USA. She also works at the Sheba Medical Center, affiliated to the Tel-Aviv University, in Israel, where she graduated from the Sackler Faculty of Medicine in 1986. She is a passionate radiologist and an active researcher in the field of abdominal CT, where her main research interests are the acute abdomen, the postoperative abdomen, and iatrogenic complications. Dr. Gayer is the author of more than 120 articles and serves as a co-editor of Seminars in Ultrasound CT and MRI since 2005, a task she finds inspiring and stimulating.
