Gabriela Hobbs MD

Dr. Gabriela Hobbs is the clinical director of the leukemia service at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Dr. Hobbs was raised in Mexico City and moved to Boston for her undergraduate studies at Tufts University. She completed medical school at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and then completed her internal medicine training at Brigham and Women's hospital followed by her fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Hobbs joined the faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2014, where she established a clinical and research program for patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) and chronic myeloid leukemia. Dr. Hobbs is a clinical investigator and conducts research to understand treatment patterns in patients with leukemia, and leads multiple clinical trials in leukemia at MGH. Her primary research focus is on MPNs and chronic myeloid leukemia.
