Gabriela Diniz PhD

Gabriela Placona Diniz has a degree in Biomedicine. She completed her PhD at the Department of Anatomy of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (2006-2010) and her post-doctorate at Harvard Medical School (2015-2016). She has experience in the areas of cardiac hypertrophy, obesity, microRNAs, cell biology, and molecular biology. It carries out activities related to undergraduate, postgraduate, research, and extension. She supervises Scientific Initiation, Master's, and Doctorate students and supervises Post-Doctorates. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Anatomy at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo and a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of South Florida.
