Gabriel A. Brat MD, MPH

Dr. Brat is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. After graduating from Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA, Dr. Brat completed a residency in General Surgery at Johns Hopkins University Hospitals in Baltimore, MD. Following his residency, Dr. Brat did a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Brat also earned a masters in biostatistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Brat’s clinical interests include complex abdominal wall reconstruction, advanced laparoscopy, trauma, general and emergency surgery, and surgical critical care. His research interests are surgical informatics and digital innovation, trauma immunology, and surgical perfusion imaging.
