Dr. Friedrich Medlin, MD is a Head Doctor at the HFR Friborg – Cantonal Hospital. He completed his medical studies at the University of Heidelberg and obtained his medical degree in 2006 before defending his doctoral thesis in 2011. He then completed his training in neurology at the CHUV and at the HUG, obtaining the FMH title in neurology in 2012.
In 2013, He acquired the certificate of specialist in cerebrovascular disease. Since 2014 he has been managing, as co-head, the Stroke Unit and the neurovascular consultation of the HFR Friborg – Cantonal Hospital.
His other areas of interest are electrophysiological examinations (ENMG, neurobiological examination of intra- and extracranial vessels as well as the peripheral nerve) and general neurology. As part of his clinical activity, he is involved in clinical research at HFR and CHUV and I participate in the training of medical students at the University of Fribourg.
