Friederike Thilo PhD, RN

Friederike J. S. Thilo is a PhD candidate in Health and Nursing Science at the Maastricht University, the Netherlands, and Head of the Innovation Field Technology and Health at Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. Her research field is the interplay of human and health-related technology in care. Friederike’s research topics are technology acceptance and adoption, need-driven development of health-related technologies, and nursing care in community-dwelling older persons. Her research interests are user-involvement, the electronic health record, and health literacy. She is an experienced registered nurse and worked for almost 10 years at the University Hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland.
