Fredrik Petersson PhD

Dr. Fredrik Petersson is a Senior Consultant and Associate Professsor at the National Cancer Institute and Department of Pathology at the National University Hospital in Singapore. He graduated from Lund University, Sweden in 1992 with M.D. and received his M.D. licence from the Swedish Board of Health in 1994. Thereafter, he trained in Histopathology in Sweden and received his specialist qualification in Histopathology from the Swedish National Board of Health in 1999 and worked as a Consultant and Senior Consultant at the Department of Pathology, Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. In 2004, he received his Ph.D in pathology from Linköping University. Dr Petersson has been a Clinical Observer and Researcher at the Department of Pathology, MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas, Houston, USA and has been Visiting Professor at the Department of Pathology, Charles University Hospital, Pilsen, Czech Republic.
