Dr. Fredric D. Gordon is a distinguished hepatologist and transplant physician with decades of experience in liver disease and transplantation. He is currently affiliated with Tufts Medical Center, where he serves in a leadership role, helping to develop and advance liver transplant programs and patient-centered care initiatives.

Dr. Gordon earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency at New England Deaconess Hospital. Over the course of his career, he has become a recognized authority in hepatology, with extensive clinical and research expertise in hepatitis C, chronic liver disease, and liver transplantation.

Before his current role, he served as Director of Liver Transplantation and Hepatology at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, where he played a key role in advancing transplant care and improving patient outcomes. His work has included contributions to the development of innovative treatment approaches and participation in major clinical efforts aimed at improving survival and quality of life for patients with advanced liver disease.
