Fred R. Buckhold Iii MD

Fred R. Buckhold III, MD, FACP is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Saint Louis University. He is a Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. His clinical work centers on the inpatient setting, although he does have clinical education duties in the ambulatory practice with the Division of General Internal Medicine. He has an academic and operational interest in clinical quality and safety as well as high-value care. He additionally does committee work on a number of national medical educational organizations, including the National Board of Medical Education, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, and the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine.
