Fred H. Brennan, Jr is currently the medical director at Seacoast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in New Hampshire. He is a full time private practice physician working part time in sports medicine and part time in family medicine. He provides musculoskeletal and primary care to local communities in seacoast New Hampshire.

Dr. Brennan studied at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine to receive his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992. He then completes a family practice residency and a sports medicine fellowship, shaping his current practice. His research interests lie with management of the athlete before, during and after collapse during sport activities. Most recently, he was published in the Current Sports Medicine Reports in 2008 regarding the return to physical activity after experiencing exertional rhabdomyolysis.

Dr. Brennan is also currently serving the US military as a family physician in the National Guard. He is a retired active duty physician for the US Army. Dr. Brennan was stationed overseas many times including in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a trauma physician. He has been awarded many honors for his service both home and abroad as a part of the US Army.
