Fred Butler Jr BA, MPH, MBA

Mr. Fred Butler Jr., MBA MPH, as Vice President, IMPAQ Health. He will provide leadership, strategic vision, and management to our Health Division as we work to improve delivery of health care while reducing costs and improving quality. Mr. Butler brings to IMPAQ more than 20 years of programmatic improvement experience. He has held critical leadership roles in the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ). Most recently, he served as Senior Advisor for Integration and Quality for the Quality Improvement and Innovation Group (QIIG).

Mr. Butler developed and served as the lead on multiple CMS models, executing the US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Secretary’s and CMS’ strategic vision to transform the health care delivery system. He also has been a national leader in the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI). The TCPI model executes the HHS Secretary’s and CMS’ strategic vision to prepare 140,000 clinicians to participate in alternative payment models.
