Franziska Moeckel is the Assistant Vice President, Personalized Health at Inova. In this role, she oversees the strategy development for genomic test integrations at Inova’s Center for Personalized Health. Ms. Moeckel is the co-creator of MediMap® – Inova’s innovative pharmacogenomic testing program and the institution’s first trademarked product line. With more than ten years of healthcare experience and a deep understanding of precision medicine integration, she is a respected thought leader in the field and consults on best practices for many national organizations. Moeckel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from George Mason University’s School of Business.
She earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, as well as a certificate in genomic medicine and bioeconomy from the Harvard School of Public Health. She has been published in peer-reviewed journals and trade magazines, quoted in industry-related books, and served on multiple scientific and medical panels. In her free time, Moeckel enjoys traveling to exotic destinations, jumping out of small airplanes, and dancing with the Maasai.
