Frank J. Chapman MBA

Frank J. Chapman is the Chief Operating Officer of Ohio Gastroenterology Group, Inc., a single specialty gastroenterology medical group with 33 physicians located in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Chapman is a past president of the Medical Group Management Association's (MGMA) Gastroenterology Administrators Assembly. He is a past chair of the MGMA's Patient Safety and Quality Committee whose focus is on raising the awareness of patient safety and infection control as a key component of non-clinical practice administrators. He is currently a member of the MGMA Government Affairs Committee.

Mr. Chapman was the first non-physician to hold a seat on the ASGE Practice Management Committee, a committee of which he currently is vice-chair. He represents the ASGE on the Board of Directors of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) where he currently is the chair of the Standards and Survey Process Committee. Mr. Chapman has recently been elected by the Board of Directors as the organization's Vice-Chairman of the Board Directors and as such is a member of its Executive Committee. He also is a member of the Board of Governors for the Institute of Quality Improvement. He is a trained and active surveyor specializing in surveying endoscopic ASCs. Mr. Chapman has a special interest in benchmarking, compliance, patient safety, and efficiency in GI operations.
