Frank Bloomfield is Director of the Liggins Institute and Professor of Neonatology at the University of Auckland. He
practises as a neonatologist at National Women’s Health in Auckland. Frank leads a research group investigating fetal
and neonatal nutrition and its impact on long-term outcomes. He is a past president of the Perinatal Society of New Zealand and of the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand and is a current council member of the Perinatal Research Society in the USA. Frank serves on the National Maternity Monitoring Group and the Clinical Governance Board of the National Intestinal Failure Service.
