Francisco Del Pinal MD, PhD

Dr. Francisco del Piñal is Head of the Institute for Hand and Plastic Surgery in Madrid and Santander, Spain. He received his MD and Dr. Med. degrees from University Complutense and his Plastic Surgery training in Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre. He was a Fellow in Microsurgery with Ian Taylor in Melbourne, Australia, and a Fellow in Hand Surgery at Kleinert Group in Louisville, KY, USA. He has been the editor of Revista Iberoamericana de Cirugía de la Mano, associate editor of The Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume), president of The European Wrist Arthroscopy Society, Secretary General of The European Wrist Arthroscopy Society, and editor of The Journal of Hand Surgery European Volume. He has written more than 100 papers and chapters, done over 400 presentations, and has been the Editor-in-Chief of two books.
