Francesca Rubulotta

Francesca Rubulotta, obtained her MD with laude and commendation in July 1998. DR Rubulotta gained accreditation as an Anaesthetist in Italy in 2002 and later as an Intensivist in Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium in 2004. Her training in Intensive Care Medicine took place in the USA, the Netherlands, and in Belgium. She is currently working in the UK as Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia at the Imperial College, Charing Cross and St Mary's Hospital in London. In 2012, she obtained her PhD at the University Of Catania, Italy. ince 2011 she jointed the team for Anaesthesia in Bariatric Surgery at Imperial College. Dr Rubulotta is a member of division of professional development of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) since 2003 and Deputy Editor in Chief of Patient-centred Acute Care Training (PACT) program. Dr. Rubulotta has been elected, by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine executive committee, member of the European Board of Intensive Care Medicine (EBICM) in the UEMS, in Brussels and member of the accreditation European board for Intensive Care Medicine.
An avid researcher, Dr. Rubulotta has published papers, abstracts, chapters and reviews, mainly on education, sepsis and ethics. r. Rubulotta has studied five different European languages. Dr Rubulotta has been invited as a speaker at several national and international meetings.
