Francesca Luisa Sciacca PhD

Francesca Luisa Sciacca is a Biologist in the Department of Diagnostics and Applied Technology at IRCCS Foundation Carlo Besta Neurological Institute. During her career, she has developed skills in molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, neurology, neurooncology, and genetics. She worked as a researcher for about 20 years, then she also started to deal with diagnostics, mainly in the genetic field. 

Francesca followed research projects related to molecular immunoregulation (Mario Negri Institute), and genetic predisposition to multifactorial diseases of the central nervous system such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, myasthenia gravis, and headache (San Raffaele Hospital).
