Frances Beadle

Fran studied at Cardiff University where graduated as a registered nurse in 2000 and also holds a Master’s Degree in Health Informatics from the University of Sheffield.

Since 2007 Fran has been employed in the field of nursing informatics to a stage where she now advises at corporate level on all elements of nursing documentation in addition to being a member of the Elsevier Middle East Advisory Board. Fran is passionate about ensuring new technology and documentation is fit for purpose, ensuring nursing staff can provide evidenced based safe effective care with the best evidence in the appropriate format. In addition to consulting on nursing documentation she also acts as a consultant across the health care spectrum in relation to HIS.

Some of her key achievements include the development, design and implementation an electronic documentation system for up to 1500 nurses, jointly receiving 2 Cerner Middle East Awards for nursing achievement and innovation, presenter at multiple national and international conferences and assisting to achieve HIMMS 6 at Tawam Hospital.
