Dr. Dupuis completed her doctoral education in Family Nursing under the supervision of Dr. Fabie Duhamel, University of Montreal, Canada. Her current academic career is focused on building capacity in Family Systems Nursing. She co-developed the Center for Excellence in Family Nursing at the University of Montreal where families experiencing illness are offered therapeutic conversations by a clinical team of faculty and graduate students. As a faculty member, she offers live supervision of advanced family nursing practice skills and also teach undergraduate and graduate students family nursing theory. During a recent sabbatical, she was able to visit several educational programs in Europe that offer family nursing in their curriculum and have had the privilege of being a guest lecturer in family nursing at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Umea University, and Kalmar University in Sweden. Her program of research is focused on knowledge translation of family nursing theory to practice.
