Florence Garrelie PhD

Professor Florence Garrelie is the Head of the Laboratory Hubert Curien gathering more than 200 people at University Jean Monnet which is a joined research unit of CNRS in Saint Etienne - France. She has a national and international reputation in investigating fundamental and applied laser processes.

Her research is focused on ultrashort laser interaction with materials, for both the structuration of materials and functionalization of surfaces. Research interests in optics and photonics, laser processes, carbon-based thin films, surface structuration and functionalization.
