Dr. Filippo Spreafico is graduated in Medicine and Surgery (University of Milan). In 1998 he was a Visiting Fellow at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Since 1996 he has worked at the IRCCS National Cancer Institute in Milan, where since 2000 he has been a Medical Director.
Main research areas are neoplasm of the kidney, of the Central Nervous System and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas of the child and adolescent. The translational clinical research activity focuses on the development of diagnostic / therapeutic protocols for kidney tumors, in particular aimed at patients with Wilms tumor recurrence, also in collaboration with international groups (International Society of Paediatric Oncology; Children's Oncology Group).
