Fernando Zanetti MD, FACC, FESC, FSIAC

Dr. Fernando Lanas Zanetti is a Surgeon, specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, a Master of Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Doctor of Research Methodology and Public Health from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universidad de La Frontera, attached to the Department of Internal Medicine and the CIGES Center, where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He directs the Clinical Epidemiology Unit of the CIGES Center of Excellence. He has coordinated and participated in various studies on acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias and joint fibrillation, and cardiovascular risk factors with great impact on decision-making both nationally and internationally.
