Fernanda Rodrigues MD, PhD

Fernanda Rodrigues an MD Ph.D. working in pediatric emergency medicine and infectious diseases. Her research focuses on the epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases (particularly rotavirus, pneumococcus, and meningococcus), on the biology of colonization and transmission of infections and how these are affected by vaccines, and recently on the development of molecular methods to study these phenomena in the context of naturally­‐acquired and live­‐attenuated vaccine­ induced infection.
