Professor Lai graduated from the Medical University of Lyon, France, and receive specialist training in the United States. He joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Medicine in 1983, and retired in 2008. Professor Lai is an internationally renowned expert renal pathology in glomerulonephritis, and has trained many participants from Mainland China. He is currently Honorary Professor and Clinical Consultant of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Medicine. Professor Li Yongxiang in 1975, graduated from the University of Lyon, France, Doctor of Medicine School of Medicine, followed by New York Hospital for specialist pathology training, any kidney medical researcher and lecturer in the United States Niuyuexina Hill School of Medicine during 1978-1982.
