Felix I. Adah PT, PhD

Felix Adah is a graduate of University of Ife (Nigeria) with a degree in Medical Rehabilitation (PT) since 1981, earned Master Degree in Human Nutrition in 1984 at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Health Sciences from The University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson Mississippi. Dr. Adah is certified to practice Dry Needling, a new area in Physical Therapy. Dr. Adah is currently teaching Physical Therapy at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and he was promoted to the rank of professor in 2009.

Dr. Adah has many years of experience as a physical therapy having worked virtually in all areas of physical therapy. Before joining the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1999, he was the Director of Rehabilitation at Beverly Enterprise, an organization that specializes in the rehabilitation of the elderly population. Dr. Adah has published many peer-review articles mainly focusing on LASER and other agents affecting tissues and healing. Dr. Adah teaches manual therapy, rehab modalities and clinical decision making in the DPT program at the School of Health-Related Professions. Dr. Adah also supervises students' research activities and serves as a member of the dissertation committee graduate students in the Clinical Health Sciences program.
