Felix Chua MBBS, PhD, FRCP

Dr. Chua graduated in 1995 from the University of London with distinction. He was subsequently awarded a Wellcome Research Training Fellowship to undertake Ph.D. studies investigating experimental lung fibrosis; this work was focused on defining specific biochemical and cellular mechanisms that promote pathological lung scarring.

Dr. Chua’s clinical postgraduate training was undertaken at the Hammersmith, Royal Brompton, and University College London Hospitals. Dr. Chua established an interstitial lung disease clinic at St George’s Hospital in Tooting, London in 2007. He also led its TB Chest service and was care group lead for respiratory medicine from 2011 until 2014 when he joined Royal Brompton Hospital in September of the same year.
