Felicity Platt BA, MBBS, FRCA

Felicity is a Consultant anaesthetist at the Queen Charlotte’s & Hammersmith Hospitals and she is an Honorary Senior Lecturer, Imperial College School of Medicine, London. Felicity’s Subspecialty is Obstetric anaesthesia. Areas of interest include resuscitation, medicolegal and ethical aspects of anaesthesia.

Felicity is a firm believer in multidisciplinary training and has run and instructed on courses in the UK and abroad, including Iraq, Haiti and India. She directs and instructs on ALS [Advanced Life Support Course], MOET [Managing Obstetric Emergencies & Trauma], NLS [Neonatal Life Support Course], ,and Generic Instructor courses. She is a member of the steering Committee for MOET.

Other positions that Felicity held are: Honorary Membership Secretary of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland; Past Honorary Secretary of the Obstetric Anaesthetists’ Association and Editor of several peer reviewed journals.
