Federico Rodriguez Perez MD

Federico Rodríguez-Pérez exercises his practice of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He earned his baccalaureate degree in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, USA.

Dr. Rodríguez is a graduate of the School of Medicine of the University of Puerto Rico. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and collaborated in Clinical Research in Nephrology at the Veterans Hospital of San Juan. Dr. Rodriguez then moves to Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut where he did the sub-specialty in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. During his training he collaborated in several clinical studies in the area of ​​portal hypertension under the tutelage of his mentors Dr. Roberto Groszmann and Dr. Guadalupe García-Tsao.
