Dr. Federico Pozzi received his bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan, Italy in 2006. He moved to the United States to obtain his master’s degree in pathokinesiology at New York University in 2011. Afterward, he completed his PhD in biomechanics and movement science at the University of Delaware in 2015. In 2018, he completed his post-doctoral training at the Clinical Biomechanics Orthopedic and Sports Outcomes Research Laboratory at the University of Southern California. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Florida. His research focuses on the biomechanical and functional outcomes of patients with musculoskeletal disorders of the upper and lower extremities. His funding includes a Career Development Award of the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. He is currently a phase one research scholar of the K12 Rehabilitation Research Career Development Program.
