Federica Ghersa, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota, where she conducts research in biochemistry and molecular biology. Since joining the institute in 2024, her work has focused on advancing the understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying human health and disease. Ghersa earned her PhD in Biochemistry from the National University of San Luis in Argentina, where she developed a strong foundation in biochemical research and experimental methodologies. Her doctoral work contributed to the study of molecular processes with relevance to biomedical science.
