Fatima Baltazar PhD

Fatima Baltazar (Baltazar F) holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (1992), Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal. From 1994-1998, she did a PhD in Biological Sciences at The University of Hull, Hull, UK. From 1998 to 2003, she was a Post-doc fellow at the Biology Department, University of Minho. From 2003 to 2014, she was Assistant Professor and from 2014 to present she is Associate Professor at the Medical School of the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal. She started her research on the Oncobiology field in 2005 and she is currently a group leader and senior PI at ICVS (Life and Health Sciences Research Institute).
