Fatima Ann Sulaiman PhD

Fatima Ann Sulaiman is the Head of Research and Services at Scleroderma and Raynaud’s UK (SRUK). SRUK is a patient focused organisation which funds research into scleroderma, a rare orphan auto immune condition.

She is leading on the development and implementation of an innovative research strategy which focuses on working collaboratively across industry in order to deliver benefits to patients sooner. A key area of focus is precision medicine and the clinical development of biomarkers which represent large unmet needs for rare disease patients. Previously, she was a senior manager at Cancer Research UK, one of the largest funders of scientific research in the UK. Prior to this, she complete a PhD from the National Institute for Medical Research (now part of the Francis Crick Institute).
